What the F… is this post doing here? Well, I just absolutely needed to talk about what I consider to be an amazing art creation. I discovered Luanda Kinshasa by Stan Douglas at Fondation Pinault a few years ago, apparently in early 2022. This is a unique 6-hour video that I really encourage you to discover!!
I could never find much more except a short extract on vimeo.
Then I learnt in early 2026 about a record published by The Vinyl Factory.
The “final” icing on the cake came with Parallax, the “largest monographic exhibition devoted to Stan Douglas in France for over thirty years” at Musée du Jeu de Paume.
I made a presentation of all this in a pdf as well as in Powerpoint,
